About One Worldwide Plaza
Worldwide Plaza, which sits at 825 Eighth Avenue, is a Trophy, LEED Gold / Energy Star building with 360 degree views of the heart of Midtown Manhattan. Built from 1987 to 1989, the complex occupies the entire block between 49th and 50th Street on 8th Avenue.
Worldwide Plaza was designed by David Childs of Skidmore Owings & Merrill. The fifty-story, 2.1MM square-foot office tower is home to the law firm Cravath, Swaine & Moore, and the Japanese Investment bank, Nomura Holdings. The Plaza is home to the popular Worldwide Plaza Summer Concert Series, which runs from May–September showcasing a wide arrangement of musical styles.
