Investing in Economically Distressed Communities

RXR is committed to investing in Qualified Opportunity Zones (“QOZ”) to spur economic development in struggling communities while seeking to secure appropriate risk-adjusted returns for investors.

QOZs were created to incentivize investment in low-income communities nationwide.

QOZ investments provide investors the opportunity to defer (in some cases, forgive) a portion of qualified capital gains that the investor would have otherwise owed.

Through its social impact focus and its deep local connections, RXR has become a trusted partner for local municipalities and controls assets as well as a robust pipeline of downtown development and redevelopment projects located in QOZs.
